Czech violoncello virtuoso Frantisek Brikcius studied at leading music schools in the Czech Republic, UK and Japan. He chose to dedicate his life to the interpretation of classical music cello compositions written by composers of the baroque and romantic era, as well as 20th and 21st centuries.
Frantisek Brikcius collaborates with leading Czech artists, such as Talich Philharmonia Prague, pianist Tomas Visek, composer Irena Kosikova or Anna Brikciusova with whom he founded the "Duo Brikcius".
He often performs on classical music festivals in the CZ and abroad and is the creative soul of his own original projects, eg. "MAKANNA", "7 Candles", "eSACHERe", "Festival Brikcius".
Frantisek Brikcius plays a "George Kriwalski" cello made in 1904.
