The organ at St. Nicholas Church is one of the largest baroque instruments of the time. It is a real pearl of Baroque art!

Drahomira Matznerova – Organ

Drahomíra Matznerová studied Organ by Prof. Hora, Prof. Tůma and Prof. Ropek, she graduated not only at Prague Conservatory and Prague Academy of Music, but she also took part in master classes in Netherland and France. She is the organist of the Church of Infant Jesu of Prague, since 1996 she has been the organist for ceremonies at New Town Hall, too. Romantic organ music of French origin constitutes the focal point of her repertoire. Besides solo playing, she also accompanies various ensembles, with which she has performed classical music concerts in Prague, such works as Haydn’s The Creation, Händel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Dvořák’s Mass in D Major and many other masses and oratorios.

For concert visitors is St. Nicholas church open 15 minutes before the concert.
Please note there is no intermission.

Price tickets online is the same as the price of tickets in the church.
