Baroque Refectory of the Dominican Convent of St. Giles is a Baroque refectory, located in mysterious streets of the Prague´s Old Town
Beautiful Baroque refectory was founded in the end of the 17th century and was considered a main and representative hall of the most significant Dominican monastery in the Czech lands.
Baroque refectory has a beautifully painted Baroque vault. The room functioned not only for serving meals but also for ceremonies that accompanied them: prayers, blessings and meditation. The refectory room has an excellent acoustics. Classical music chamber concerts held here will impress you by great sound and ancient athmosphere.
