Vivaldi's most famous Four Seasons: classical music can also be lively, cheerful and full of energy!
The Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague will perform Antonio Vivaldi's world-famous work. The orchestra will be led by the chief conductor of the orchestra, Martin Šanda. Young Czech virtuosos Klára Klánská, Matteo Hager, Marek Pavlica and Jan Novák will perform as soloists.
Vivaldi's Four Seasons, a cycle of concertos for violin and orchestra, is the Italian Baroque composer's most famous work. It is divided into four parts, in which Vivaldi describes the progress of the entire year. Each season consists of three sentences. Spring (Birds, Streams, Shepherd's Idyll, Country Dance), Summer (Zephyr, Boreás, Calm, Mosquitoes, Storm, Gale), Autumn (Dance, Harvest, Drunken Sleep, Hunting, Escape) and Winter (Cold, Wind, Rain, fireplace, on ice).
