Immerse yourself in the melancholic harmony of acoustic and electronic sounds

Polish artist Ola Bilińska, together with a group of leading musicians from Warsaw and Gdansk, has created the album Libelid, full of emotional songs inspired by Yiddish lyrics. The songs, which deal with the different faces of love, not only reflect Jewish customs deeply rooted in the emotional and family life of pre-war Jewish communities, but also recall the poetic images of Yiddish poets.

The "Libelid" project, which develops the theme of modern arrangements of Jewish music in Yiddish begun with the "Berjozkele" project, premiered on 26 April 2015 at the finale of the New Jewish Music Festival at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. The event is held in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Prague.
