Petra Vlková Quartet ft. Skip Wilkins

Jazz singer Petra Vlková will be accompanied on stage by the excellent American jazz pianist Skip Wilkins

Petra Vlková belongs to the most prominent personalities of the Prague jazz scene, where she has been active for almost 25 years. She is known for her velvety voice, elegant and emotionally rich delivery and courage for improvisational experiments. 

She will be joined on stage by the jazz pianist Skip Wilkins, who has 17 albums under his belt as leader or co-leader and has a rich history of collaboration with jazz legends such as Phil Woods. Skip is well known on the Czech jazz scene, having toured the country many times in collaboration with top Czech musicians. His contribution to Czech jazz was even captured by Czech Television in a documentary dedicated to his career and influence on the local jazz culture.

Skip's musical partnership with Petra Vlková is a celebration of spontaneity and creative risk-taking, which allows them to enchant the audience with a rich supply of original ideas and unique musical moments.
