Gustav Mahler's Eighth Symphony will blow you away

When the Prague Symphony Orchestra and its chief conductor Tomáš Brauner thought about which opus should open the 90th season, they naturally considered only exceptional pieces. Until it was said almost in a whisper, because with full respect: the Symphony of a Thousand, Gustav Mahler's Eighth Symphony. A symphony that is all-encompassing, a symphony in which the longing for the reconciliation of the world, for redemption through love, gushes from so many throats and heroines. That is why they have called in reinforcements from various parts of Europe to the expanded stage of the Smetana Hall, so that the jubilee season can begin on a truly sublime note!
