Esteemed jazz singer and her trio perform on Jazz Boat

Veronika Vítová was born in Prague, Czech republic. She discovered jazz music at the age of 28, when she decided to apply for a Jazz vocal studies at Jaroslav Jezek College, and was accepted. Jazz started to change her life completely. She met the best musicians and created her own projects. She has her own band, and at this moment they are working on her debut CD introducing her own music.

In 2011 Veronika established the vocal Jazz acappella group SKETY. They won Jirkovsky pisnovar in 2011 and Vokal.Total (international competition in Graz) in 2014, and brought two second prices from Dutch Aarhus and Finish Tampere in 2017. They were on tour in Taiwan and Australia and are performing all around Europe.

Veronika is also a regular guest of Jazz Dock orchestra, a contemporary Jazz big band housed in one of the best European Jazz clubs in Prague, Jazzdock. She loves classic music, and is lucky to cooperate as a solo singer with Berg orchestra, an ensamble performing modern classic music. She is also a member of Musica Panica ensamble, performing early music.

What to expect: 

  • Two and half hours of boat trip with jazz concert and three-course dinner 
  • Great views of Prague historical center panorama 
  • Three sets concert with two breaks, stage inside, music from speakers on the upper deck (the volume is acceptable)
  • You can also purchase concert only ticket and get antipasti and snack or drink only on the boat separately

Slow-pulled pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes with cabbage and cracklings, demi-glace sauce
Chocolate brownie with whipped cream and ice cream

Grilled salmon steak, potato gratin, cream sauce with dill

* There will be also separate menu (not included in the ticket price) where you'll be able to choose various types of dishes.

Important: 

  • From April to October: Boarding time is at 8:00 PM, departure at 8:30 PM, arrival at 11:00 PM
  • From November to March: Boarding time is at 7:00 PM, departure at 7:30 PM, arrival at 10:00 PM
  • The seats are allocated by the promoter once you get to the board of Jazz Boat
  • When private tables are sold out, some tables are shared with other visitors
  • The dinner on the board is available a la carte served to your table while listening to great jazz tunes
  • Drinks are not included in the ticket price - to be purchased separately
  • Get warmer clothes in case you decide to spend some time on the upper deck
  • The Jazz Boat is near the public transport
