As part of the 11th annual celebration of International Romani Day, organized by Ara Art z.s., the charismatic singer Zea will take the stage at Jazz Dock. Zea, whose real name is Alžběta Ferencová, is not only a singer but also an actress, model, and dancer with roots in Prešov. Her musical career began with the group Forsomeone, but she became widely recognized as a solo artist. Her debut single Is This Love and the album Burning Light won the hearts of listeners with their originality and powerful musical expression. Beyond music, Zea has made a name for herself as an actress—she is currently known to audiences from the hit Slovak TV series Iveta, which has broken viewership records. In addition to her artistic career, she is a proud Romani woman and the descendant of her great-grandmother Elena Lacková, a prominent Romani writer and the first Romani woman to graduate from Charles University.
Milan Kroka Band
The second band of the evening will be the Milan Kroka Band.Milan Kroka is a talented composer, singer, guitarist, and keyboardist who is among the most prominent Romani musicians of today. Throughout his rich musical career, he has collaborated with many icons of the music scene, including Ida Kelarová and Romano Rat, Věra Bílá and Kale, Gitans, Mezcla Orquesta, Kmeťoband, Connection, Triny, Ben Cristovao, V.I.P. Band Zdenka Lázoka, and Dorky Park Company (Berlin), among many others. His music blends traditional Romani rhythms with modern elements, creating a unique experience full of emotion and energy.
