At the Clam-Gallas Palace classical and Baroque concerts have nearly 300 years of tradition

The recently refurbished Clam-Gallas Palace, built by Count Gallas in 1713, is a masterpiece of Baroque palace architecture. Designed by an Austrian architect J. B. Fischer von Erlach, the Clam-Gallas Palace gets your attention immediately thanks to two giant sculptures at the entrance, creation of the famous sculptor Matyas Bernard Braun. The Gallas and later Clam-Gallas were great lovers of art and their Prague palace was home to magnificent balls, theatrical performances and also concerts of classical music, performed among other by great personalities of that time such as W. A. Mozart or L. van Beethoven.

Cultural events, such as art exhibitions, lectures and concerts are held here also today and thus, classical music concerts at the Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague have a tradition of almost 300 years.
