The Prague Crossroads-St. Anne´s church is an international cultural centre, created on the initiative of President Vaclav Havel.
The Prague Crossroads is one of the projects of Dagmar and Vaclav Havel Foundation VIZE 97, which is also intended to preserve and administer this unique space. The initiative for the refurbishment of the desecrated St Anne's Church, founded in 927 by Saint Wenceslas, came from former president of the Czech Republic Václav Havel. His vision was to create a suggestive venue for meetings, lectures, discussions, concerts, performances, exhibitions, happenings, and meditations.
It is a suggestive place of concerts, performances, lectures, happenings and other cultural events. Despite its mostly secular use, St. Anne´s Church is breathing spiritual essence and newly found historical meaning.
