Hus' Choir in Vršovice: a dominant building in Vršovice district
The Hus choir of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in Moskevská street, No. 34 in Vršovice was built in 1930. The exceptional building is inspired by functionalism with elements of constructivism. Architect Pavel Janák, the master of Czech Cubism, participated in the conception of the church.
Hus' choir was designed as a multifunctional building. In the building, among other things, you will find a large theater hall used by the MANA theater company in Vršovice. There is also an urn burial ground and rental apartments in the building.
