Saxophonist Štepán Markovič is accompanied by Agharta Gang
Saxophonist Štěpán Markovič has a musical friendship with old friends. In 1982, he invited Michal Hejna to his then - important band ESP. He and Imran studied elementary school and together they searched for their way to music. All theese three without exaggeration, can be called the "nestors of modern jazz," will be complemented by musicians a generation younger, but one of the best, Vladimír Kliment on bass and Ondřej Kabrna on keyboards.
The AghaRTA Gang Story
The name ‘the AghaRTA Gang’ came into being because whenever in the last minute someone was unable to perform at the AghaRTA jazz club, in Prague, so they had to look for substitute musicians. So thus was born the group that has been playing, since then, regularly to this day. The AghaRTA Gang involves really great and experienced musicians. Enjoy their music!
