Czechiando

"Czechiando" is the new project of Cuban percussionist Michito Sanchez

Ever since he moved from Las Vegas to Prague for family reasons, he is increasingly a guest of Czech bands of all kinds. Everyone likes to use them for sensitive games, everyone wants to play with the musician who still accompanies James Taylor on world tours, worked with Paul Anka, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer and others. Michito invited Prague friends and musicians from the "first league" to "Czechianda".

The dramaturgy of the club revolves around three main ideas: to present top Czech jazz musicians (Jiří Stivín Emil Viklický, Luboš Andršt etc.), to introduce jazz musicians who began their career in this Prague jazz club and made it to the top (Roman Pokorný, David Dorůžka, Robert Balzar, Yvonne Sanchez and many others), and to support young talented musicians providing a platform for their presentation.
