With his latest trio, Kirill explores the balance between fusion and ambient music, drawing on influences from rock, electronic music, world music, and Nordic jazz

Kirill Yakovlev is a leading guitarist and electronic music producer in the Czech Republic. Having released three albums with his original music, Kirill Yakovlev performed at festivals such as Trostberg (DE), Marezijazz (SI), Grünland Festival Steyr (AT), Tonne (DE), Bohemia Jazzfest (CZ), and Jazzfest Brno (CZ). His third album, “B/Y Organism - The New Beginning,” was released by the prestigious Austrian label Alessa Records. The album was praised for its high energy delivered by Kirill’s fusion guitar, Hammond organ, and drums. With his newest trio, Kirill explores the equilibrium between fusion and ambience, taking influences from rock, electronic music, world music, and Nordic jazz. In December, the band released their first EP called The Trio. Their first single, The Pathos of the Unreachable Galaxy, became single of the week on the Czech Radio Jazz.

Jan Sedlák is a bassist, composer, and band-leader from the Czech Republic based in Aalborg (DK). In 2023, Jan performed several international tours, with over 20 concerts in Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania. Playing original music with projects such as The Collective Abroad, Eyal Lovett Trio, Pasaravičiene/Sedlák, and Kirill Yakovlev Trio, Jan is frequently performing alongside some of the best musicians in Europe.

Petr Nohavica is a drummer and composer based in Prague (CZ). In 2023, Nohavica released his debut album Glance, which was nominated for the prestigious Czech Music Awards - Anděl. Thanks to his musicality and adaptability, Nohavica has played with countless artists, frequently touring across Europe.

The high level of acoustic set up in this Prague jazz club allows live jazz music gigs until the morning hours! Often during a one single evening several jazz bands together as well as guest musicians will change on jazz club stage.

Jazz Dock has its own music concept. It´s dramaturgy is specific for its several-days concert blocks of significant Czech jazz bands and foreign bands and regular jazz festivals focused on a particular jazz genre, specific country or dominant jazz instrument.
