Kristina Barta is a Czech jazz pianist and composer whose music is an outstanding example of contemporary European jazz, drawing on a unique blend of classical music and fresh, innovative jazz approaches. She began her musical journey as an oboist and later turned her focus to piano and composition. She became a prominent member of the Euroradio Jazz Orchestra. Audiences across Europe have had the opportunity to hear her music at prestigious festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazzahead!, and many others. 

Martin Uherek is among the leading Slovak jazz saxophonists. Within the jazz community, he is known for his thorough study of the improvisational approaches of the great figures of the bebop and hard bop eras. Through this deep engagement, he has developed his own distinctive improvisational and interpretative style. He released his debut album Walking My Own Way in 2015, and his relationship to jazz history as well as his dedication to popularizing the music closest to his heart are presented in the project Stories of Jazz, released on CD in three volumes between 2013 and 2021.
