Coming from Slovakia, Lucia Bakaiová spent her early years singing mostly traditional Slovak music. Step by step she explored other music genres and fell in love with pop music, gypsy swing, funky grooves and all sorts of music styles. Later, she was accepted at the prestigious VOŠ KJJ jazz department in Prague, where she had the honor to study jazz singing in a company of great musicians and mentors.
