The beauty and history of Lobkowicz Palce is amazing. What the family has done to restore the Palace is extremely noteworthy.

Located in the Prague Castle complex. It was very elegant and provided a perfect location for a classical music event.

Beautiful Concert Hall.

It feels a bit of a let down to come closer to Prague castle, and get inside the gift shop, go upstairs and go inside of this room and you have in mind the idea of a Palace.

Beautiful venue

It was not clear to us where the entrance to the venue was, having walked around the gallery and ended up at the other side. We were told by a guide that we were too late at 12.58 to enter the venue. However we did not accept this and rushed round to the entrance and were told that it was fine, indeed other members of the audience entered the room after us.

Místo samo o sobě je úžasné, stojí to za to si udělat čas i na prohlídku samotného Lobkowiczoveho paláce. Zrovna jsou to majitelé které se moc dobře starají o své rodinné památkové majetky a je to znát.

A walking route description from town centre would have been nice. We took a wrong turn and had to hurry :-)

The castle is is beautiful, but the acoustics in this space are not great. Museum staff were extremely helpful!

It is absolutely very special to be able to attend a concert in a space that has been hosed to many great musicians over the centuries. One does need to be aware that it takes a good walker to get from security of the entrance to Prague Castle to the palace. Therefore allow plenty of time, and with mobility issues, it is problematic to get there easily. Time it so you can also take him lunch at the superb location of the Terrace café!

Marvellous venue

The venue itself was good but I’ll f, like us, you used google maps to navigate you there by foot, beware that only one of the 2 alternatives takes you to the right part of the castle. Also, there was a no obvious signage to the concert entrance, which wasted more time! You have to join a queue for a security bag check before you reach the venue and then don’t have priority over others who are buying general museum tickets. For all of these reasons, we ended up being quite late and then had to wait for a suitable break in the performance before we could be admitted to the hall. We also didn’t have a program but luckily knew the pieces that were being played.

The venue is stunning. The room where the concert is held is magnificent. After the concert we explored the castle and museum, which I would recommend

The venue itself is lovely, but the chairs are terribly uncomfortable and the way the room layout is made, with three large windows behind the players, is not comfortable for the eyes. I would recommend that the "stage" would be set next to the fire places, in the opposite side of the room, and that the chairs are changed.

Samotný koncert na dobré úrovni, není co vytknout. Organizace ale špatná, protože zároveň s koncertem byla zakoupená vstupenka do muzea paláce a na místě nám bylo sděleno, že jedno patro je uzavřeno pro soukromou akci a sleva žádná. Pro vzdálené návštěvníky trochu nefér jednání. Už na minulé akci v Klementinu podobné pochybení. Zdá se, že je vše směřováno na zahraniční turisty, ve chvatu a jde pouze o byznys. O oblečení návštěvníků ani nemluvě, tam jsem už rezignoval dávno a je mi z toho smutno.

The room is gorgeous and suited this concert well. Luckily the audience was very respectful, and that kept the environment enjoyable for the concert. Sound was perfect. This was our first time making our way to the venue, and we had some trouble locating it...plus my girlfriend wasn't moving quickly with a foot issue, so we walked in to the museum lobby later than we would have liked to (our apologies). However, we were assisted to get seated just moments before the music began, and greatly appreciated that the staff was so helpful in facilitating our getting settled at the last minute. We ate at the café and had did the audio tour of all the rooms afterward as well, and I was very impressed overall with just about everything at the Palace.

Gorgeous venue and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed hot chocolate and pear tart in the cafe with views over the city and the concert was excellent. Walking through Prague Castle grounds to get to the palace is a bonus too.

C'est l'intimité qui prévaut dans cette salle de concert du palais Lobkowicz. Les musiciens sont bons. J'ai acheté les billets par internet et je n'ai pas eu le plan indiquant le lieu du concert. Je n'ai eu que l'adresse. C'est un personnel de l'hôtel qui m'a indiqué comment y parvenir. Mauvais point pour vous. Ce qui est fort dommage c'est que l'on soit obligés de faire la queue très longtemps, sous le soleil, pour entrer dans l'enceinte du château à cause des fouilles de sécurité. On est mêlés à tous les touristes qui veulent visiter les extérieurs du château. C'est vraiment un point négatif. Ce contrôle est sûrement très allégé quand on choisi d'ecouter un concert dans une église où une autre salle.

Beautiful baroque interiors, fabulous acoustics, intimate performance.

The staff was very friendly, from the ticket box, the gift shop, the restaurant (excellent carrot cake) and the museum. It was a wonderful second visit.

The concert hall is much smaller than it appears on the website and promotional material, but the sound was good. Go for gold seats and the blue seats are very uncomfortable.

We purchased the combination ticket and toured the Lobkowicz Palace Museum after the concert - well worth a visit. The audio tour was very well done, narrated by the Czech-American owner of the Palace himself along with other family members. Also took advantage of the included 10% discount to enjoy lunch at the terrace cafe overlooking Prague’s Lesser Town.

Nothing could top the venue. Perfect place for perfect talent.

Das Konzert fand in einem angenehm überschaubarem Rahmen statt. Die Örtlichkeit ist gut gewählt, die Sitze zweckmässig und ausreichend bequem. Wenn man aus den Fenstern geschaut hat, wurde man teilweise durch Sonneneinstrahlung geblendet, oder hat auf eine Baustelle geschaut. Dies empfand ich aber nicht weiter schlimm, da man sich mit geschlossenen Augen um so mehr auf die Musik konzentrieren kann :-)

A wonderful setting reminiscent of bygone times when much of the music was composed. We also visited the excellent restaurant and the amazing museum as well as the shop. In all we had a very interesting and enjoyable day.
