Theater tour started punctual. The gentleman in charge of the tour was very knowledgeable and passionate about this theater story. The theater was in pristine condition and very pretty.

Our guide on the tour was Jana. She was very good in communicating with the group. She understood well the need of some people to go to the bathroom before the actual tour begins. It was convenient to be able to leave things in the cloakroom during the visit. However, it would have been even better to have a sign at the entrance (a sort of billboard), that here is the starting point of the tour. (Participants asked each other to be sure to wait at the right spot. It was raining. The meeting point was on the street, Zelezná 11000) She told us enough about the background of the creation of theatre, the changes which occurred due to the "great politics" up until today. She showed us the most important and most beautiful parts of the house (the auditorium, stage, balkonies, Mozart saloon, buffet area) and let enough time to take pictures and make selfies. In the different places in the theatre she spoke about the relevant subject, so one had the feeling to be part of the story. She abundantly detailed the Amadeus-film's relation to the theatre mentioning the activity of Milos Forman. She also spoke about the enlargement of the house and the modifications which were made. Her presentation was very understandable, her English seems to be excellent. All in all it was a nice experience.
